About Lever

Founders don't need more advice. They need the seat nobody's filled yet.

Pull The Right Lever

Founders Are Stretched Thin

  • Vision without a plan
  • Ambition without an operator
  • Ten priorities, one person

That's Where We Come In

Lever exists because most founders don't stall from a lack of vision — they stall because nobody's holding that vision to a plan and executing it, day after day, inside the business. We're that operator. Embedded in your business. Not advising from the sideline.

Most breakthroughs don't come from working harder at the same approach everyone else is already using. They come from someone willing to look a little foolish for a while — testing an angle nobody else has bothered to try, refining it quietly while the outside world assumes it won't work, and staying with it long enough for the results to speak for themselves.

That's the kind of leverage we look for in every business we take on: not more hours or more headcount, but the one overlooked angle that changes the whole trajectory. It's asymmetric by design — small, deliberate shifts that produce outsized results. A lever doesn't work by adding force. It works by finding the right point to apply it.

Vision or a plan?

Most founders already have plenty of the first and almost none of the second.

We write it down first — what we call the Lever Blueprint: your values, your focus, your market, agreed on in plain language with no ambiguity left for later. Most founders have a version of this in their head. Almost none of them have it on paper, agreed to by everyone who has to execute it. If yours already is, you probably don't need us.

We're the operating partner founders wish they'd hired sooner — embedded C-suite muscle for founders who'd rather build the thing than pitch the deck.

Founders are usually the best visionary their company will ever have. They're rarely the best person to also run finance, or operations, or a new market launch, all at once. We fill whichever seat is actually missing: CFO for one engagement, operations lead for the next, whatever the business needs most right now.

Every engagement is run by someone who has actually held the function we're brought in for, not a bench of analysts learning on your dime. When you work with Lever, the person in the meeting is the person doing the work.

Seven ideas run through every engagement: simple enough to execute without ego, generous with what we know, empathetic to what founders are carrying, broad enough to help anywhere and deep enough to be trusted, relentless until it works, positive enough to keep looking for the opening, and asymmetric — small shifts, outsized results.
